Jimmy Beans Wool Blanket Club
Do you love blankets as much as I do? Yes, of course you do!
Let me tell you about the best subscription for knitters AND crocheters, using a brand new hand-dyed Madelinetosh Blanket base or allergy friendly Berroco base. I’m so excited to get started on this 2024 Blanket!
The Club offers a monthly subscription that builds on itself to create a one-of-a-kind heirloom.
Starting January 2024, you'll receive a skein of yarn every month for the next 12 months. Packages will be shipped between the 10th & 15th of every month, with all the instructions you'll need for the next 30 days.
You also have the option of a Monthly Payment Plan or one time Annual Payment. Check out all the details here - Blanket Club
The 2024 Blanket Club features: Patchwork-style designs by Jimmy Beans Creative Director, Lena Skvagerson.
When you become a member of the Club you get to choose:
1) Your color palette: Playful or Romantic yarn.
2) The Madelinetosh or Berroco Comfort Blanket.
3) Your choice of the knit or crochet pattern.
Here’s a few extra details you might like to know before you get started.
This is a NEW custom Madelinetosh Blanket yarn you can't get anywhere else! A dedicated online community JUST for Blanket Club members, along with video tutorials and quarterly check-ins with Lena. An allergy-friendly option for those with wool sensitivities (like me!)
What's Madelinetosh Blanket?
The NEW completely custom Madelinetosh Blanket base is a 5-ply, worsted weight, 100% Superwash Merino wool base. This base is 25% More Squish™ (not a real trademark). Each colorway contains hand-dyed colors not available in Tosh's core 150.
The Berroco Comfort yarn has a wonderful color palette that is equivalent to the Madelintosh yarn, (without the itch!)
So what are we waiting for, come on and let’s get started!!
I’m a huge swatcher and never skip this step even for blankets. It can mean the difference between having enough yarn for the project or playing that dreadful game of CHICKEN!
I usually start off with the suggested hook size… but it’s rarely what I end up using. After several attempts, it looks like I’m going with the 5mm hook size!! Stay tuned friends!
