I’m super excited to participate in the Jimmy Beans Blanket Club for the second year!! I had so much fun making the blanket last year that I couldn’t resist when asked to join again this year. This blanket kit is offered in 2 colorways, the Trailblazer or the Beachy Keen, in your choice of knit or crochet. I’ve chosen the Beachy Keen in the wonderful new Beanstalk yarn. This yarn is brand new and exclusive to Jimmy Beans Wool, it’s made of 100% acrylic for those of us looking for an allergy-friendly option. Not to worry the kit is also offered in the beautiful Madelinetosh yarn for those desiring a wool option.

Joining the Club is easy peasy!! Just go to the Jimmy Beans website and click on CLUBS. Decide on the subscription you like and add it to your cart, then proceed to check out. Each month, you will be charged for your kit, the kit (yarn and printed pattern instructions) will be shipped out. The hardest part is waiting for your shipment to arrive, lol!!

This year I’ll be blogging about the monthly kits. I will share my tips and tricks and some things that are new to me and/or things I struggled with. Yes, after 57 years of crocheting I still love to learn new techniques. Like everyone, some of the techniques aren’t necessarily new but I’ve forgotten them, LOL!! Did I mention this is an intermediate design.. have no fear, with Mr. Google near by I’m fairly certain an advanced beginner could figure it out.
